Course Information
This module is broken down into 2 sections:
1) What is literacy and how to teach it.
This module discusses the key aspects of literacy in schools, SOW, Planning and Resources. If you are a beginner, experienced or want to train your staff then ensure you go through the step-by-step guide on what is Literacy and How to teach it?
2) What is Numeracy and how to teach it.
This module discusses the key aspects of Numeracy in schools, SOW, Planning and Resources. If you are a beginner, experienced or want to train your staff then ensure you go through the step-by-step guide on what is Numeracy and How to teach it?
Time Involved in this course for each part:
This course is taught entirely online. There is no set time frame, you can do the activities when it suits you best. Each part takes approximately 30-35 hours to complete.
Reading Materials 5 – 15 hours
Writing up a lesson plan for 1 hour
Creating resources 1 hour
Creating SOW and weekly plans (weekly plan based on 10 Literacy lessons – 12 hours) (SOW ongoing)
Lesson delivery 1 hour
Video and review 2 hours
