Subjects
English Language and English Literature. Reading, writing, grammar and comprehension for younger learners, building to GCSE English Language and Literature: set texts, unseen poetry, language analysis, and exam technique.
Maths. Secure number skills first, then reasoning and problem solving, through to GCSE and A-level. Learners are assessed when they join, so teaching starts from what they actually know.
Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Taught as separate sciences or as Combined Science, with practical work in our own science prep lab.
Coming soon
Business, Accounting and Economics, and languages: Arabic, Urdu, and French. Tell us if you are interested and we will let you know when they start.
Madrasah
Madrasah classes run at the same time, Saturdays 11:00am to 2:00pm, for families who want them. Raedan Institute is not a faith-based organisation. Madrasah is offered as one subject among many, and every other class is open to everyone.

Frequently asked questions
Can my child do more than one subject?
Yes.
Which exam boards do you cover?
We teach to the AQA specifications, and we can support learners following other boards. Tell us which board your child's school uses.
Can my child sit their exams with you?
Yes. See AQA Exam Centre and GCSE Resits.
Do you offer tuition during the week?
Yes. See our Alternative Education and Home Education Support, Monday to Wednesday, 9:30am to 1:30pm.
Do you take pupils with an Education, Health, and Care Plan?
We are a part-time centre, not a registered school or a specialist SEND setting, so we cannot deliver the provision in an EHCP. If your child has additional needs but no EHCP, please talk to us.
